Step 1:

What name, phrase or letters should we carve into it?

Make sure you use upper and lower case letters, spaces, and punctuation EXACTLY the way you want it! Be sure to check the limits for different letter styles listed in step two.

Step 2:

Choose a font

We'll resize them as much as possible to fit the text you want. Letters with tight spaces and serifs (the tweaks on the tips of the letters) don't work well with long names. The reduced size required to fit long names causes the serifs to get lost. Due to limitations in the tooling we use, any features less than 3/16 of an inch will get lost. So please try to follow the guidelines on for which letter style to choose.

Arial Bold
The lack of serifs and wide letters make this font great for longer names or even initials where maximum impact is desired. Good for up to ten letters.

Comic Sans
The consistent width of this font make it a great choice for longer names. Slightly whimsical and readable. Good for up to ten letters.
.

Brush Script
A nice fancy script good for up to six letters.

Times New Roman
A traditional font. The tight serifs limit this font to five letters or less.
.

Copperplate
Great for bold initials and short names. Delicate serifs limit this font to a maximum of four or five letters.

Curlz MT
Whimsical and cute, small features make it less durable. Best with four or fewer letters. Five letters is ok if some are skinny (l, i, j). No more than five.
